Committee: Scholarship

Scholarship Committee: Members of the Scholarship Committee conduct the annual scholarship application process and determine the recipients of annual monetary scholarships.

This committee serves to promote life-long learning and meaningful recognition for nursing leaders through its work with the Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders and the DAISY Foundation. Annual scholarship opportunities are available twice per year. The KONL’s partnership with the DAISY Foundation has allowed the KONL to provide an annual Nurse Leader of the Year award to celebrate the recipient’s dedication and promotion of the core values of the KONL. The scholarship recipients are recognized during the KONL spring and fall conferences, and the Nurse Leader of the Year Award is announced during the KONL fall conference.
